Namora is a Marvel Comics superheroine who first appeared in Marvel Mystery Comics #82 in 1947. Namora is the cousin of Namor the Sub-Mariner and possesses similar abilities to her cousin, including superhuman strength, durability, and the ability to breathe underwater. She is also able to fly and possesses the power to manipulate water.

Namora is from Atlantis and was raised by her mother, who was a human air-breather. She eventually learned of her royal lineage and met her cousin Namor, who she would team up with on several occasions. Namora has been a member of various superhero teams including the All-Winners Squad, the Agents of Atlas, and the X-Men.

Namora has been involved in several major storylines throughout her comic book history, including the battle between the Avengers and the Atlanteans in the "Atlantis Attacks" storyline, and the "Dark Reign" storyline where she joins the Agents of Atlas in their fight against Norman Osborn's evil regime. Namora has also appeared in several animated series and video games, further cementing her status as a beloved character in the Marvel Universe.
