Emma Frost, also known as the White Queen, is a Marvel Comics character who first appeared in the pages of Uncanny X-Men #129 in 1980. She was created by writer Chris Claremont and artist John Byrne.
Frost was initially introduced as an antagonist to the X-Men, as a member of the villainous Hellfire Club. She possesses powerful telepathic abilities, including mind reading, mind control, and the ability to project illusions. Later, Frost became a member of the X-Men and a mentor to the young mutants at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.
As a mutant, Emma Frost has the ability to transform her body into a diamond-like substance, making her impervious to most physical attacks. She is also a skilled fighter and strategist, making her a formidable opponent both in and out of combat.
Over the years, Emma Frost has been involved in many significant storylines in the X-Men universe, including the Dark Phoenix Saga, the Age of Apocalypse, and the Messiah Complex. She has also had romantic relationships with several characters, including Cyclops and Namor the Sub-Mariner.
Emma Frost has also appeared in various media adaptations, including animated series like Wolverine and the X-Men and X-Men: Evolution, as well as live-action films like X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Apocalypse.
