Norman Osborn, better known as the Green Goblin, is one of the most iconic villains in the Marvel Universe. First appearing in "The Amazing Spider-Man" #14 in 1964, Osborn is a wealthy industrialist who becomes obsessed with power and money, leading him down a dark path of insanity.
After experimenting on himself with a dangerous serum, Osborn gains superhuman strength, agility, and a maniacal alter-ego known as the Green Goblin. As the Goblin, Osborn terrorizes New York City with his deadly weapons, pumpkin bombs, and glider.
Over the years, the Green Goblin has become one of Spider-Man's most persistent and dangerous foes, and has been responsible for some of the most significant events in Spider-Man's history, including the death of Gwen Stacy and the Clone Saga.
Despite his evil actions, the Green Goblin remains a complex character, with moments of vulnerability and humanity that make him a fascinating villain.
