Enchantress, also known as Amora, is a fictional character appearing in Marvel Comics. She was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, and made her first appearance in Journey into Mystery #103 in 1964.
Enchantress is a powerful Asgardian sorceress and one of Thor's greatest enemies. She possesses the ability to manipulate mystical energy for a wide range of effects, including teleportation, illusions, telekinesis, and energy blasts. She is also skilled in seduction and manipulation, using her beauty and charm to achieve her goals.
Amora is often depicted as a villain, using her powers for personal gain and to further her own desires. She has attempted to take over Asgard, manipulated and betrayed other villains, and even attempted to seduce Thor himself.
Despite her villainous nature, Enchantress has occasionally allied herself with heroes such as the Avengers and the Thunderbolts. She has also had a romantic relationship with the supervillain Skurge the Executioner.
Enchantress has appeared in various media adaptations, including animated television shows and video games. She was portrayed by actress Jaimie Alexander in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Thor: The Dark World.
